This website is owned and maintained by La Maison de la Lingerie’ with the subsidiary Red Box Lingerie whose registered business address is 100 Crewe Road, Alsager, Cheshire, ST7 2JA England.
You should read these terms and conditions carefully before placing an order as by accessing, registering or ordering from us you are agreeing to the La Maison de la Lingerie’s Terms of Business. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions you should not use this website.

You may only use this website in compliance with the Computer Misuse Act and any current EU or British laws covering data and the use of computers. The website is here for our visitors to use safely and there must be no threat against that.
Using this website outside the UK
La Maison de la Lingerie invites users from all over Europe and is more than happy to receive orders from the wider world. Primarily we operate in the UK and France and as such delivery methods, times and costs differ.

All items are dispatched subject to UK VAT however any customs or regulatory restrictions as required in your own country can not reasonably be conceived and therefore it is necessary for you to adhere to these as you are ware.
Orders
When you place an order you make an offer to us to buy a product. After you have placed an order a message will appear telling you that the order has been placed. At any point you are able to check the progress of your order and it is then that you will see whether or not the order has been shipped. At this point we have accepted into a legally binding agreement with you.
We at La Maison de la Lingerie will endeavour to meet your orders needs however due to these reasons we may be unable to accept:
- the item has become unavailable;
- the item description (including image and price) was inaccurate;
- your credit card/debit card company declines payment; and
- you have conducted in way that indicates you do not wish to place an order.
Orders received before 2:00 pm (GMT) will be processed the same day, while orders that are received after 2:00 pm will be processed the next day. Orders are only processed on normal working days (i.e. not bank holidays or weekends).
Unfortunately to create a valid sale contract an order cannot be modified after it has been confirmed. Please excuse us for this inconvenience. In case of an error, you may return the items and request a refund. For more info, please see our RETURN POLICY on this page.
La Maison de la Lingerie reserves the right to reject any orders should it believe that these are not in the businesses interest.
Pricing, Charges, and Payment
We at La Maison de la Lingerie endeavour to keep items on the website up to date, this means that changes to colour availability, pricing etc should appear on your order. If however an update has not been processed before placing your order we will check the order before dispatch and confirm the new terms (by email or telephone) for a valid contract.
If we discover an inaccuracy in the description or price of the items you have ordered, the following terms will apply:
- We will contact you if the description differs and should you no longer wish to purchase the items we will refund your order.
- Should the price be lower that stated we will charge you the lower amount and send your order as normal.
- Should the price be higher than the order shows we will contact you to confirm how you wish to proceed.
If we fail to get in touch with you within 14 days of discovering the error we will cancel your order, process a full refund and send an email confirming this.
All prices shown on the website are in pounds sterling and include VAT at the current rate.
Prices exclude delivery charges. Delivery charges appear as a separate line item on the order summary page.
You may pay for orders using a credit card or debit card using PayPal which is our secure funds transfer method. For this reason, we do not see the details of your card and therefore not able to retain them or answer card specific queries.
All items remain our property until you have paid for them in full.
Delivery
You can choose any delivery address you prefer: home address, office address or the address of another person.
Normally you will receive the lingerie you order 4-5 business days from the day you place an order. Some products are special order only and take longer however this will always be specified on the product page before ordering.
To offer you the best service, we have chosen Royal Mail special delivery for their proven success and satisfaction, to ensure fast delivery to all of UK. Standard delivery is £4.99 or FREE for all orders over £100. Your rate will be calculated at checkout. The courier does not delivery on festive or pre-festive days.
If the courier does not find anyone at the delivery address, parcels will be left at the local sorting office and held for two weeks to allow collection. If after this time the item has not been collected Royal Mail will return this to La Maison de la Lingerie. La Maison de la Lingerie will contact you directly by e-mail.
Ownership and any risks associated with loss or damage to items becomes your responsibility from the date when we deliver the products or on the date of the first attempted delivery by Royal Mail. This only applies if we have processed and received payment in full for the products.
Returns Policy
We check all Lingerie before sending however if the lingerie that you receive is not fit for purpose and is faulty or not upto satisfactory quality then you can of course return and request an exchange. To date we have never experienced this due to having selected only the best quality lingerie - however if you simply email or call our boutique we will guide you what to do and ensure that you do not stand out any postage in these events. We take our reputation for quality very seriously.
In the event that an online purchase does not meet your expectations (is disliked etc), under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you have the right to cancel your order within 7 days of receiving your products for a full refund, however this does not include postage. Once again we have never exeprienced disappointment with the lingerie we sell however in these situations Here at La Maison de la Lingerie will refund the price you have paid for the lingerie. You must confirm this to us in writing.
We will be happy to accept returns provided that:
- they are returned within 14 days of receiving them;
- items are unused and returned in their original packaging, with all labels attached and with the relevant return documents;
- please send an email to returns@redboxlingerie.com listing your Name, Order Number, and items you are returning with the reason and your requirements (exchange, new size, refund etc).
- return the items safely to Returns, Red box at La Maison de la Lingerie, 100 Crewe Road, Alsager, Via Stoke on Trent, Cheshire ST7 2JA.
Please Note
- For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of opened hosiery, briefs or other items that have come in direct skin contact.
- We are also unable to give refunds for gift vouchers.
- Postage costs and responsibility involved with returning goods lies with you. You are advised to obtain proof of postage or a tracking number for your security. In the case of a request for a refund delivery costs are not covered by La Maison de la Lingerie.
- Should you require an exchange we will waive any additional delivery costs. Please also note that in the case of exchanges we will not provide an exchange for items that have already been returned once already.
- We will refund any payment you have made as soon as possible, and no longer than 30 days of receiving the returned items
- the responsibility of returning goods remains with you until it is received by the store. If any damages have occurred these will be deducted from the refund
Unfortunately, if you do not meet these return requirements we may not be able to process your refund or exchange.
Agreement
By placing an order on this website you are automatically accepting these terms and conditions in relation to the contract between us. It is always recommended that you read these terms carefully.

Gift Wrapping
Most items in our catalogue offer gift wrapping. When processing the order you will be asked to enter a personalised message, if you do not do this we will leave the tag blank.
In the comments section for delivery you can also specify that the gift be sent to an address omitting the invoice and we will send this by email instead.
Please note: There is an additional cost for the gift wrapping service.
